The 2025 Cadillac LYRIQ has futuristic good looks and elegant road performance, with a luxuriously comfortable interior. It also has a wide range of exciting features that aren’t as immediately noticeable. Let’s take a look at some perks you’ll enjoy when you drive it.

Single or Dual Motors

The LYRIQ comes standard with a single motor that supplies 365 hp and 324 lb-ft of torque. It’s RWD and will reach 326 miles on a fully charged battery. Your section option is a dual motor setup, with one motor attached to the front axle and the other attached to the rear axle. These motors deliver 515 hp and 450 lb-ft of torque. This option is AWD and has the power to tow up to 3,500 pounds.

Both motor options are powered by a 102 kWh Ultium battery pack. The innovative Ultium batteries are composed of pouch cells, which gives them greater flexibility than a regular battery pack. The pouch cells can be stacked on top of each other or spread out, depending on the design requirements. They’re also capable of both AC and DC fast-charging and have a reduced cobalt for increased sustainability.

Super Cruise

This innovative technology is usable on 750,000 miles of highway in the US and Canada. You activate it by switching on Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) using the ACC button on your steering wheel. On a Super Cruise-compatible road, a white icon will appear on your screen. Press the Super Cruise button on your steering wheel, the white icon will turn green, and you can relax and enjoy the view as your LYRIQ drives you.

It uses preloaded, high-precision LiDAR maps of the highway, radar sensors, cameras, and GPS to keep your vehicle centered in its lane as you head to your destination. Your LYRIQ will accelerate, or brake as needed and will also change lanes as required, all hands-free. A specialized camera monitors your head and eye positions and will automatically alert you to take over if it determines you’re drowsy.

Home Backup Power

Blackout? No problem, your LYRIQ can keep your lights on while the outage is repaired. To activate this function, you’ll need two easily installed systems: a PowerShift Charger, which is bidirectional, allowing power to flow from your home to your LYRIC or vice versa, and a GM Energy Enablement Kit.

If the lights go out, the Enablement Kit detects the power loss and automatically starts to draw power from your LYRIQ when it’s connected to the system. It can supply up to 9.6 kW, enough to power your home for up to 21 days.
